This imported basket is made from a classic Apache Indian design and like coiled pottery with thin strips of fiber, wood, leaves or grass wrapped into a bundle in a continuous coiled spiral. Six Iota god figures adorn this traditional basket which is flat enough to be used as a southwestern place mat in the dining room to display pottery, lamps, bowls, etc. If an Apache Indian basket weaver made this quality of basket, it could cost into the thousands of dollars. We are offering the same style of basket at a fraction of the cost of an original.
