This pendant is an impressive and beautiful piece of hand-made Turquoise and Sterling Silver jewelry. This one features a bold and gorgeous display of genuine Turquoise. This Turquoise has been perfectly hand-cut to create large oval cabochons which have been set against the brilliance of Sterling Silver.

Named after the discoverer Henry How, a geologist from Nova Scotia, Howlite is found in Canada (Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, New Brunswick), and the United States (California). California is the source for almost all of the howlite trade where nodules of up to one hundred pounds have been found. White, and normally found in an opaque massive form, although there are extremely rare crystals of howlite. White howlite is not enhanced. Howlite can be dyed to imitate other stones such as turquoise, lapis lazuli and others.
