This Native American Indian Cross and Teepee Hand-Made brain-tanned deer hide Knife Sheath by Janice "Osalita" is beautiful! Native Americans use this technique of tanning to make leather soft and supple. In addition, this tanning method offers a nice smoked smell. The sheath features a lemon yellow beaded knife pattern on a background of blue, a dark red border that outlines small tee pees, and an Indian cross pattern. The front is entirely covered in lazy stitch bead work.

The importance of knowing a product is hand-crafted Indian art and that the artist is a Native American tribal member is immeasurable. To that end, we include a CERTIFICATE of AUTHENTICITY.
