This Native American Hand-Made brain-tanned Deer Hide Leather "Storm" Knife Sheath is beautiful! Native Americans use this technique of tanning to make leather soft and supple. In addition, this tanning method offers a nice smoked smell. The sheath features gray, black, maroon and white size 11 seed beads lazy-stitched in angular designs. The edges are finished with rolled bead edge stitch. The top and straight sides of the sheath are beaded in "River" design. The center of the sheath has a modified "Storm" pattern and the colors are traditional Navajo rug colors. At the top and bottom are conchos and the back has a belt loop to wear easily.

The importance of knowing a product is hand-crafted Indian art and that the artist is a Native American tribal member is immeasurable. To that end, we include a CERTIFICATE of AUTHENTICITY.
