This Native American painting is truly inspiring.
A stern Native American wrapped in an American Flag stands alone in the night and appears to be on guard. He stands over the starlit forest with vigilance, his rifle in hand, back to the wind and eyes alert. Generally, it is not expected for a Native American to have a nationalistic allegiance to the United States, but many Native Americans do - despite the many hardships endured by America's Natives throughout American history. A new feeling of National pride exists with many Native Americans. This engaging painting explores these ideas. Thanks to those many Native Americans who have served with the U. S. Armed forces.
