These vibrant hand-woven baskets are made from traditional Southwestern designs featuring a variety of colors and shapes including canoe baskets and bowl baskets. Pueblo Indian symbols and images decorate the well made and tightly woven baskets. Coiled baskets are made like coiled pottery. Thin strips of fibers, wood, leaves or grass are wrapped into a bundle which is coiled around in a continuous spiral. Colored with natural dyes, it is a true gift of the Earth. Baskets of this quality made by an actual Apache, Navajo, or Pima would sell for thousands of dollars. Thankfully, we're able to provide the same styles of basket at a mere fraction of the cost.
