3 inch Pueblo Indian Dream Catcher Artifact
diameter 3"
This Native American Indian dreamcatcher was hand-made by the skilled Pueblo Indian artist, Amanda Toralita, who resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico and has been making artifacts for eight years. Her great-great grandmother taught her the craft because Native American arts are traditionally taught and passed from the family generation to generation.
The wheel of this dreamcatcher is wrapped in soft genuine buckskin leather and; the web is perfectly hand-woven in the traditional design from artificial sinew featuring colorful trade beads. The genuine feathers act as symbols of prayer. Because the dreamcatcher is hand-made, some slight variations may occur. The photo is an excellent representation of the one-of-a-kind hand-made artifact you'll receive.
The dreamcatcher was hung by the window or at the head of your bed. The bad dreams get caught in the web. The prayer beads on the dreamcatcher trap all the bad dreams that are left on the web and the prayer beads burn them up. The good dreams work their way through the hole in the center, rest on the feather like a dew drop, and evaporate to the Great Spirit in the morning sun. There are many variations to the story of the dreamcatcher with different tribes.
We understand the true value and nature of hand crafted Indian art and we recognize that it is important to know that the artist is truly a member of a Native American tribe. To insure you that this is the real deal, a Certificate of Authenticity will be included with this item.
