This Navajo Indian wedding vase is gorgeous with hand-painted pueblo designs. It has been dressed with a genuine turquoise nugget and some genuine feathers for a touch of natural character. Due to the hand crafted nature of this item, some variations may occur from piece to piece. The photo is an excellent representation of the one-of-a-kind hand-crafted pot you'll receive.
The Dine' People are unique and still live the traditional life, in part, by passing many oral stories down to the younger generation through the Dine' language. The Navajo people have returned to their original name given to them by their holy people. The Navajo Reservation is Dine' land covering approximately 25,000 sq. miles and is located on top of Oak Creek Canyon, the largest reservation established for the Dine.’ The reservation is located in parts of Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, and Colorado. The Dine' People believe they live within the Four Sacred Mountains. The Navajo people have returned to their original name given to them by their holy people, the Dine', which is pronounced di-nay-h.
