This elegant vase design Hand-Made Navajo Pottery Indian Bear Design Signed by Ernest Watchman is made from natural clays found in the earth. The clay is soaked in water until it reaches a workable consistency; then worked and hand-coiled. The artist then hand-etches and hand paints the traditional designs into the walls. This one features a multi-toned bear design motif.
