Calvin Peterson, Navajo artisan, is well known for his silver art work. He uses top grade sterling silver in all his work. Calvin Peterson is from Wind Rock, Arizona which is on the Navajo Reservation. He began his career as a silversmith in 1991. He had on the job training where he learned the craft of jewelry making on the job from Robert Coxon.
